PacifiCorp is seeking a Systems & Development Analyst 3 for its Portland, Oregon office.
Job Duties: Provide technical support, identify issues, and implement software patches and upgrades for commercial (vendor) applications. Support client server packages and web applications. Conduct research and fact-finding to develop or modify applications. Work with vendors to review quality, adaptability, and compatibility of their products. Design, code, document, implement, and maintain application programs and interfaces. Provide customer support for package software and associated interfaces. Work with vendors to resolve problems with software and respond to suggestions for improvement and enhancements. Consult with application users and evaluate user requests for new or modified computer applications and associated interfaces to determine feasibility, cost and time required, compatibility with current systems, and computer capabilities. Analyze strategies, programs, and processes across and between all corporate functions. Perform system analysis and design functions, handle critical development issues, research, and analyze data. Telecommuting permitted.
Requirements: Bachelor's or foreign equivalent degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Computer Applications, or a related field. Two years of experience in: SCAD, Distribution Management System (DMS), and Outage Management System (OMS).
