As our Payroll Director, you'll lead Nike's US Payroll department to develop, maintain and continuously improve procedures and processes that meet federal and state requirements. You'll direct day-to-day US Payroll operations in order to produce accurate and timely paychecks, W2s, reports and information, and ensure compliance with Nike policies and internal audit guidelines. You'll also develop annual business plans and budgets; select, train, develop and supervise our Payroll staff; and manage department workflow, assignments, scheduling and efficiencies. In addition, you'll ensure that payroll issues are handled effectively; monitor processes and customer service levels; and identify methods to improve efficiency and effectiveness.

Requirements for the position include:

Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business or a related field

5 years' experience directly related to payroll processing

2 years' additional experience in lieu of a degree

2 years' supervisory experience including hiring, coaching and performance management of at least 3 direct reports

Deep expertise in all aspects of payroll processing

Knowledge of state and federal requirements regarding: wage and hour, taxation,

unclaimed wages, garnishments, and record retention

CPP certification and experience with PeopleSoft payroll system is preferred
