Profile: Heart of Oregon Chapter of the American Payroll Association

The Heart of Oregon APA Chapter was established July 2004, many thanks to our Past President and founder Barry Ostrom.  We are a growing fun group based in Salem, the Capital of Oregon located in the Central Willamette Valley. Our primary focus is education and networking opportunities for any level of the payroll professional and related fields.  

Year round monthly meetings are held on the second Thursday evening of every month at Chemeketa Community College in Salem, Oregon.  Every meeting has an educational topic provided as well as recent updates that affect the payroll profession.  RCHs/CPEs are available for attendees.  Visitors are encouraged to attend and consider membership.

The chapter hosts study groups for the CPP and FPC certification in advance of each spring or fall testing session.  More information can be found on the CPP/FPC page.
